Camilla June Barnes

Camilla June Barnes, 79, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, August 10, 2026 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born September 4, 1946 in Jonesboro to the late Cate and Amy Watkins.

Camilla enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Camilla was preceded in death by her husband, John Barnes.

Survivors include her son, Kiley (Shannon) Barnes; brother, Terrel (Carolyn) Watkins; three grandchildren, Jacob, Kinsey, and Finley Barnes; nephew, Stephen Watkins; niece, Terri (Tom) Duckworth and numerous other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, with Bro. Stan Ballard officiating.

The family would like to express their profound gratitude to the staff at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House for the care provided to Camilla.
