Calvin Williams

Calvin Williams, 54, of Jonesboro passed from this life on December 28, 2014 at his residence. He was born on April 18, 1960 to Jim and Loretta Williams in Riverside, California. Calvin grew up in Knobel, Arkansas and graduated in 1978 from Knobel High School. He started his nursing career while working for both NEA and St. Bernards for many years. Calvin was very proud to be a nurse and was awarded several awards for customer service. He also enjoyed gardening. Calvin loved to play and listen to music, especially the Beatles. Mr. Williams will be remembered by the many who loved him as a very funny man who never met a stranger and a loyal son. He is preceded in death by his father: Jim Williams; Son, Calvin Williams Jr. Calvin also leaves behind his beloved Shih Tzu: Coco.

Calvin is survived by his loving Mother: Loretta Williams; Son: Cameron Williams (Jennifer); Daughters: Casey Caudle (Jake), Chelsea Williams; Brother: Johnny Williams; Sister: Jeaninea Bare (Terry); Grandchildren: Cason Burk, Catlin Burk, Cadence Burk, Kamden Williams, and Korben Williams.

Memorial service will be on January 3, 2015 at Community Fellowship Church, Jonesboro Arkansas at 2:00 p.m. with Chad Wood officiating. There will be no visitation and burial will be private.
