Caleb Gibson

Caleb Gibson, 26, of Albuquerque, New Mexico died Monday, December 16, 2019 at his home. He was born on September 10, 1993 in Merrillville, Indiana to Paula Shephard and David Gibson.

He has resided in Albuquerque for the last 4 and half years after coming from Jackson, Tennessee. Caleb was an avid Skateboarder and loved to cook. He enjoyed hiking; camping, fishing, and watching his brother play baseball. Caleb also loved video gaming and making music beats. Caleb was a laid back easy going guy and we will miss his contagious smile and kindness. May his light continue to shine with his brother and may he find peace.

Caleb is preceded in death by his brother, Luke Gibson; uncle, John “Doug” Gibson; maternal grandfather, Lloyd Dickens; and paternal grandfather, Durwood Gibson.

Caleb is survived by his mother, Paula Shephard of Albuquerque, NM; and father, David (Robin) Gibson of Auburndale, FL and; sister, Jena Gibson of Memphis; brother; Joshua Shephard of Albuquerque, NM; brother Brad Gibson of LaPorte, IN maternal grandmother, Joyce Darling of Bay, paternal grandmother, Joy Furness of Michigan City, IN and several aunts and uncles.

A graveside service will be at 1pm Monday, December 23, 2019 at Pine Log Cemetery.
