Byron R. Blair

Byron R. Blair, 79, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Denver, Colorado and moved to Jonesboro in 1963, coming from Pocahontas, Arkansas. He was a volunteer with the National Park Service for 16 years at the Grand Teton National Forrest, and was an active environmentalist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Moses and Lela Blair, and two sisters, Geraldine Kennedy and Beverly Calone.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Blair; his son, David Blair and wife Renee, Jonesboro; two daughters, Susan Blair, Jonesboro; Margaret Dominy and her husband Steve, Dallas Texas; Also surviving are five grandchildren.
