Buster Stephenson

Buster Stephenson, 73, of Harrisburg, passed from this life Monday, June 14, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 14, 1948 in Trumann to the late Beatrice and Tommie Stephenson. In addition to his parents, Buster is preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Stephenson; sister, Reba Carter; and brother; Johnnie Stephenson.

Buster lived his whole life in Northeast Arkansas. As a Lieutenant in the Army, the only time he did spend away from home was during the Vietnam war. Buster enjoyed spending his time coaching and umping baseball at the North Side Sports Complex. He loved his dog buddy. But, most importantly, Buster loved being with his family.

Buster is survived by his son, Rodney Stephenson (Tracy) of Jonesboro; daughter, Rhonda Denson of Sherwood; sister, Anna Meurer of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Jason Stewart, Shelby Beadle (Jeremy), Jacob Denson (Megan), and Jade Denson; and great-grandchildren, Connor Stewart, Isla Stewart, Ryan Beadle, Sawyer Beadle, and Quinn Beadle.

A memorial service will be held at 10am Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home. A visitation will precede the service from 9am – 10am. Burial will be private.
