Buddy Summers

Buddy Summers, 84, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, August 10, 2014 at NEA Baptist Medical Center. He had lived in Jonesboro since 1980, moving here from Weiner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Summers; daughter, Cindy Summers Canard; his parents, and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include sons, Bud Summers Jr. (Cathy); Bill Summers; Michael Summers (Connie) all of Jonesboro; sisters, Riggie Toddy of Henderson Nevada; Carolyn Rich of Long View, Texas five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 12:00, Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Temple Baptist Church with Andy Neal officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and burial will be private. Visitation will be from 11:00 until service time at Temple Baptist Church.
