Buddy Pennington

Buddy Wayne Pennington, 69, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Saturday, December 7, 2019. He was born to the late Shelby and Jessie Pennington on October 21, 1950 in Elaine, Arkansas. In addition to his parents, Buddy is preceded in death by his brother, Autis Pennington.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Gayle Pennington of Jonesboro; son, Jeffrey Pennington of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Lori Smith (Dustin) of Bono; grandson, Gavin Cooper of Bono; granddaughter, Haelyn Smith of Manilla; brothers, Shelby Pennington (Mary Jo) of Onia, Arkansas and Jimmy Pennington (Marla) Kiln, Mississippi; and sisters, Caroline Massey of Jonesboro, Shirley Denton of Saltillo, Mississippi, Jean Heaberlin of Norfork, Arkansas, and Debbie Skimahorn of Alicia, Arkansas.

A memorial bonfire will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at “The Shop”, 563 CR 360, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
