Buddy Larone Smith

Buddy Larone Smith, 41, of Batesville, died Saturday morning at White River Medical Center in Batesville.

Born in Jonesboro, Buddy was a 1989 graduate of Trumann High School. He lived in Harrisburg before moving to Batesville in 2009. He worked for Securitas at Peco Poultry in Batesville and was preceded in death by a little brother.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Smith of the home;

His mother, Sheila Casburn (Rea) of Sumner, Mississippi;
His father, David Smith of Trumann;
His step father, Billy Brown of Jonesboro;

1 daughter, Elizabeth Reves (Danny) of Batesville;

2 brothers: Chad Turner of Sumner, Mississippi, and David Laron Smith, Jr. of San Diego, California;

2 sisters: Kellee Kirby (Darrell) of Bay, and Leslie Kaye Smith of Fontana, California; and

1 granddaughter, Olivia Reves of Batesville.

A memorial service will be held Monday afternoon at 1:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held from noon until service time Monday at Emerson Chapel.
