Bruce Pennington

Bruce W. Pennington, 69, of Jonesboro passed from this life on July 23, 2015 in Little Rock. He was born on June 24, 1946 in Memphis to Bruce Pennington and Dorothy Pennington Bazzell. Bruce is of the Methodist belief and graduated from Memphis State with an Electrical Engineering degree. He enjoyed leather and wood work and anything that he could do with his hands. Bruce was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the U.S. Air Force. He is preceded in death by his father, Bruce Pennington; mother, Dorothy Pennington Bazzell; and one brother, Barry G. Pennington.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Carol Merritt Pennington of Jonesboro; sons, Barry Pennington (Tania) of Nederland, Texas and Bruce D. Pennington of Mississippi. He also leaves behind three grandchildren; Taylor Pennington, Devon Pennington, and Mason Kilgore.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
