Bruce Hazelwood

Bruce Hazelwood, 70, of Horseshoe Bend died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Bruce was born in Lake City on September 14, 1944 to the late Leo and Rene Hazelwood. He was of the Baptist Belief. Bruce loved photography and landscaping. He was known for being a ham radio operator and door knocker.

In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by a daughter; Lori May.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Alice Hazelwood of the home. 1 daughter; Tamera (Chris) Sheaffer of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, son in law; Kenneth May of Lake City, 6 grandchildren: Natasha (Michael) Moreno, Matthew (Kylie) Simonton, Cassie (Ryan) Smith, Chandler, Seth, and Ryle Sheaffer, and 6 great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Jeremy Coleman officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday, at Emerson Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm.
