Brock Anderson

Brock Alan Anderson, 47, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born to Chuck Anderson and Kathy Johnmeyer on October 22, 1972 in Colby, Kansas. Brock graduated high school at Wilburton High School in Wilburton, Oklahoma and graduated from Lyon College in 1996. He attended church at Central Baptist Church with his wife, Ashley, and their two children, Brayden and Lily.  Brock always supported his children in their activities, whether it was coaching a team, dancing with his daughter, or being the #1 fan of the team. Most of all he enjoyed watching Brayden play on the Blazer baseball team and Lily play on the volleyball team, with Ashley by his side.  Brock also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at the beach with his family.

Brock is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ashley Anderson of Jonesboro; son, Brayden Anderson of Jonesboro; daughter, Lily Anderson of Jonesboro; mother, Kathy Johnmeyer (Jerry) of Armstrong, Missouri; father, Chuck Anderson of Garden City, Kansas; sister, Stacy Tancayo (J.W.) of Garden City, Kansas; mother and father-in-law, Vickie and Larry Thompson; sister-in-law, Mandy Watson (Will), and nieces and nephews, Jerek Tancayo, Brooks Tancayo, Elly Jo Tancayo, Ella Watson, and Harper Watson. Brock also leaves behind a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Emerson Funeral Home with Glen Putman officiating. Burial will follow at Swifton Cemetery.

Family will receive guests prior to the memorial service beginning at 1:00 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
