Brian Lee Schuchardt

October 11, 1957 — January 15, 2025

Brian Lee Schuchardt, 67, of Cherokee Village, formerly of Bartlett, Tennessee, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. Born on October 11, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Bob and Rose Schuchardt, Brian lived a life filled with love, adventure, and dedication.

A proud graduate of Jonesboro High School’s Class of 1976, Brian pursued higher education at Hendrix College in Conway. His professional career as a manager at Kroger spanned several years, during which he built lasting relationships and earned the respect of colleagues and customers alike.

Brian was a true lover of the outdoors, finding joy in camping, traveling, and basking in the calming sound of ocean waves—even if he wasn’t a fan of the sand. He embraced life’s simple pleasures and created cherished memories with his family and friends.

Brian’s legacy is marked by the love he gave and the lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother Dottie Schuchardt, who lovingly helped raise him; his brother Gary Schuchardt; and his grandson Jagger Schuchardt.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 30 years, Lydia Schuchardt, of the home; four sons, Jordan Schuchardt (Megan) of Oakland, Tennessee, Josh Howell (Stephanie) of Bartlett, Tennessee, Jared Howell of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Justin Howell of Bartlett, Tennessee; one daughter, Angie Riley (George) of Bartlett, Tennessee; two brothers, Kurt Schuchardt (Vicki) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Chip Schuchardt (Kristine) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; six beloved grandchildren, Haleigh, Natalie, Ryley, Emily, Makinlie, and Madden; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of lifelong friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Bro. Bryce King. Interment will take place at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honoring Brian as active pallbearers will be Jordan Schuchardt, Jared Howell, Justin Howell, Josh Howell, Case Schuchardt, and Kyle Schuchardt.

Brian’s vibrant spirit, warmth, and love for life will be deeply missed but forever celebrated by all who knew him. His memory will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
