Brian Scott Johnson, 49, of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday, January 16, 2021 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born in Jonesboro to Gary and Sue Johnson on December 19, 1971. He lived all of his life in Jonesboro and was a member of Big Creek Valley Baptist Church. Brain worked at Dena Construction for many years until 1997 when he had his motorcycle accident. Brian loved motorcycles, cars, and anything dealing with mechanics. Most of all, Brian was very kind and thoughtful.

Brian is preceded in death by, paternal grandparents, Aden Jr. and Minnie Johnson; and maternal grandparents, Staton and Dorthy Sharp; his brother, Mark Johnson; and his nephew, Tyler Johnson

Brian is survived by his parents, Gary and Sue Johnson of Jonesboro; and nephew, Darrell Johnson.

A visitation will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 1-2:30 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. with Brother Gary Gibson officiating. Active pallbearers will include: Brad Sharp, David Keedy, Junior Keedy, Alex Keedy, Garrett Keedy, and Will Keedy. Honorary pallbearers will include Robert Jones and Bennie Wiseman.
