Brenda Carol Tacker

Brenda Carol Tacker, 57 of Jonesboro, passed from this life at her home Wednesday, October 14, 2015. She was born in Harrisburg, AR on October 28, 1958 to Ray Wilcoxson and Vennie Simpson Wilcoxson. Brenda loved playing with her grandchildren, tending to her plants and flowers, enjoyed music especially the blues, and most of all she loved her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, nephew, brother-in-law, aunts and uncles. Brenda was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: 1 son, John Tacker (Christy) of Jonesboro; 1 daughter, Andrea Stowers (Rickey) of Hoxie, AR; Bob Birdsell, her significant other of 26 years; 3 sisters, Sheila Buazard of Bono; Vanessa Grimes of Lake City; Kimberly Blount of Jonesboro; 4 grandchildren; Cole, Katie, Austin, and Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at Emerson Memorial Chapel with the service starting at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers will include family and friends.
