Brenda Joyce Johnson

Brenda J. Johnson, 64 of Jonesboro died Wednesday at Twin Oaks Health and Rehab Center.

Brenda was born December 3, 1948 to the late Johnnie and Rosie Kirksey in Jonesboro. She was a loving lady, and she loved to cook. She lived most of her in the Jonesboro area, and was of the Baptist belief.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Johnson; two brothers, David and Gary Kirksey; and a sister, Dorothy Burrow.

She is survived by a sister, Linda Leonard; a nephew, Jerry (Debra) Langston all of Jonesboro; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 9-10am Thursday at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be at 10:30am on Thursday in Bishop Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
