Brenda Gillean

Brenda Kay Gillean, 73, of Jonesboro passed from this life on January 13, 2018 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

Brenda was born on July 7, 1944, in Earle, to the late Leon “Rip” Sr. and Josephine Crawford Harrison.  She moved to Jonesboro in 1962, eventually opening Real Estate Rentals which she ran for over forty years. She was a member of the Rock of Northeast Arkansas Church.  Her passions were her family, church, and music.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Gillean of Jonesboro; one son, Bob Mingus of Jonesboro; granddaughter, Gena Greene of Jonesboro; two brothers, John Harrison and his wife Lennetta of Norfork and Leon “Rip” Harrison Jr. and his wife Darlene of Jonesboro; two sisters, Frankie King and her husband Howard of Marked Tree and Kathy Green of Bono; several nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.

A Celebration of her life will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:00p.m. at the Rock of Northeast Arkansas with Andy Hassen officiating and a reception will directly follow her service.
