Brenda Frese Winters

Brenda Frese Winters, 81, of Jonesboro, passed from this life at the Craighead Nursing Center on December 13, 2021. She was born in Jonesboro on February 24, 1940 to the late Luella and John Joseph Francis Frese. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Jane Stagner.

Brenda was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and a member of Southwest Church. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and embroidering by hand. At a young age, she was an avid swimmer. Brenda was a giver. She would often volunteer at the food pantry and at local schools to help read to children. Most importantly, Brenda loved being with her family.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Kelly Winters of Enid, OK and Marcy Fielder (Jeff) of Jonesboro; son, Tracy Winters (Amy) of The Woodlands, TX; sister, Sara Piazza of Irvine, CA; brother, David Frese of Nashville, TN; and grandchildren Charlie, Claire (Duncan), Lexi, and Jacey.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Southwest Church.
