Brenda Louise Brown

Brenda Brown, 67, passed from this life on May 31, 2025 with her beloved family by her side.

Born in Homestead, Florida on December 7, 1957, she spent a lifetime putting others first — as a wife, mother, nana, and sister she gave without expectations and loved without conditions. Brenda was a member of Central Baptist Church. When she wasn’t able to attend services, she was sure to watch online. She enjoyed watching Fox News and General Hospital, as well as keeping up with family and friends on Facebook. She loved to yard sale, eat sonic ice, help her husband Joe do yardwork, and watch her great grandchildren play.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Joe Brown; children, Donna (Nate) Lipsky and Billy Joe Brown; siblings, Terry (Beverly) Baxley and Linda (Kelly) Alexander; grandchildren, Natalie (Kevin) Hulett, Sarah (Devon) Newton, and Duke (Kayla) Lipsky; great grandchildren, Andi Kate and Lucy Hulett; and a host of many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Rosie Baxley and brother Ricky Baxley.

Pallbearers will be Nate Lipsky, Duke Lipsky, Kevin Hulett, Devon Newton, Jon Alexander, and Josh Alexander.

A funeral service will be held at Emerson Funeral Home on June 4, 2025, at 2:00 pm. A visitation will precede the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at Caldwell Cemetery.
