Brenda Kay Copeland Berry

Brenda Kay Copeland Berry, age 64 of Jonesboro, went home to be with Jesus Friday at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born in Jonesboro to Chester and Pauline Taylor Copeland. Brenda was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was a doll and jewelry collector, a seamstress, she loved the little things of life and was totally devoted to her husband Don; she also loved hearing and reading the Bible.

Brenda is preceded in death by her father, Chester “Junior” Copeland. Survivors include husband Don, of the home, mother, Pauline Copeland of Jonesboro, sisters, Carolyn (Butch) Whitten and Debbie Copeland, all of Jonesboro; brothers-in-law, Tony (Ann) Berry of Sacramento, California; Ty (Judy) Berry of West Des Moines, Iowa; 1 niece, 5 nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 1-2 P.M. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with service following at 2 P.M. with Tony and Ty Berry officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers include Robb Whitten, Matthew Whitten, Jim Watkins, Keith Baker, Kirby Roe, and Jackie Wallis.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
