Brandon Reece, 43, a lifetime resident of Jonesboro, died Saturday, May 17, 2025. He was born here in Jonesboro on October 28, 1981, to Andy and Vicki Reece. Brandon was of Methodist belief. He prioritized his spirituality above everything, building his relationship with God whenever he could. He also felt it was his purpose to be a messenger and follower of Christ, always spreading his wisdom to others. Brandon had recently been certified and promoted as an industrial boiler and refrigeration operator in his job at Butterball, allowing him to work on steam lines and ammonia systems. He was dedicated in trade school, earning these certifications in less than 6 months. As a hobby, he loved to create art, specifically paintings, drawings, and pieces of writing. He drew the best doodles and handwritten letters for the people he loved. He also enjoyed working on cars, picking up of their mechanics and painting several over the years. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Kyra Reece; bonus daughter, Kaitlyn Kelley both of Jonesboro; sister, Shannon Reece-Tedder and husband, Kevin of Florence, South Carolina; favorite niece, Lindley Tedder of Florence; aunt and uncle, Deedra and Shan Mosbey of Jonesboro.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dr. Tommy Snyder officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Lee and Gabe Snyder. Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time. Burial will be private.
