Braelynn Claire Walker

Braelynn Claire Walker, 10, of Brookland went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2019, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Braelynn was born in Jonesboro on June 20, 2009, to Wesley and Jessica Walker. Braelynn attended Brookland Middle School, played basketball for the Middle School and was a member of the PBIS Club. Braelynn had a huge heart, loved her friends, family and her smile was contagious that when she started telling you a story, you would be smiling and laughing yourself. Braelynn loved makeup, dressing up and would sing and dance on Snap Chat like a rock star. But at the end of the day, she would be snuggled up in her favorite pj’s watching movies with her cousins.

Braelynn is preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Oscar Junior Jones of Trumann, Harvey John Garrett of Trumann, James Chester Holmes and Etta Elizabeth Holmes all of Harrisburg. Paternal great grandparents, Lonnie and Dora Walker, Pat and Frankie Adams and Gary Cunningham (Peanut) her partner in crime and best bud.

Braelynn is survived by her Mother, Jessica Jones Walker of Brookland. Father, Wesley Walker (Lindsay) of Brookland. Brother, Tucker Jay Walker of Brookland. And her dog, Sasha. Grandparents, Deborah Diane Holmes of Harrisburg, Mark Anthony Holmes (Paula) of Jonesboro, Darrell Rickey Walker (Patricia Lynn) of Jonesboro. Great grandparents, Bonnie Marie Garrett of Trumann, Lema Irene Jones of Trumann.

Several Uncles, Aunts and Cousins, Justin Jones (Alex) of Jonesboro, Jace, Jaxon, Everly JonesDevon Little of Jonesboro, Krysha Harmon (Mark) of Jonesboro, Rebekah Harmon, Jeff Walker (Denise) and Elizabeth Dunnam (Wesley) of Jonesboro, Darah Loggins, Hallie Loggins and Abbey Pinkston all of Jonesboro. A host of special friends from Brookland School and the Trotter family from Bay.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Mark Harmon officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 18, 2019 from 4-8:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Active pallbearers will be Justin Jones, Mark Harmon, Wesley Dunnam, Casey Gilliam, Fred Wilson, and Tommy Holmes. Honorary pallbearers will be Iron Hawgs, Harley Davidson and The Harley Riders of Jonesboro.
