Brad Neal Heckmann

Brad Heckmann, a beloved husband and father passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 60 at his home in Jonesboro. He was born on July 23, 1963, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, to his parents, Billy Neal and Jessie Mae Heckmann.

Brad was a member of the County Line Church of Christ and worked as a registered nurse for over 33 years. He had a big heart for animals and often supported the ASPCA. He was a passionate St. Louis Cardinals fan and cherished every moment he had with his family. Brad is preceded in death by his parents.

Brad is survived by his loving wife, June Heckmann, who was his lifelong partner and source of unwavering support. He is also survived by his daughter, Jessica Ferguson, and her husband, Andrew, of Knoxville, Tennessee. Brad leaves behind his brother, Jerry Heckmann, and sister-in-law Jackie of Little Rock, Arkansas, and two nephews, John Heckmann of Gulf Breeze, Florida, and Brian Heckmann, along with his wife, Mallory, of Little Rock, Arkansas.

A visitation to celebrate Brad's life will be held at Emerson Funeral Home on October 21, 2023, from 2:30 PM to 4 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the ASPCA in Brad’s memory.
