Bobie W. Richey

Bobie W. “Bob” Richey of Trumann departed this life on November 6, 2021, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House surrounded by his family. Bob born on April 6, 1940, to the late Woodrow and Maggie Richey in Lake City.

In addition to his parents Bob is preceded in death by his lovely wife of 43 years Thelma Lee Hayes Richey; one grandson, Burtton Corbin; two brothers, Dallas Richey and Jerry Richey.

Bob is survived by; two daughters, Cindy (Burt) Corbin, Sherri (James) Lowery; three grandchildren, Courtney (Tyler) Watkins, Autumn Corbin, Aaron Lowery; three great- grandsons, Maddox Watkins, Reed Watkins, Harrison Watkins; two sisters, Lou Carner, Janette Richey; three brothers, Clifton Richey, Larry Richey, and Ronnie Richey.

He was a member of First Christian Church in Trumann and attended First General Baptist Church with his family the last several years of life.

Bob cared so much for his family he joined the Air Force for 4 years and helped provide for his family. He then majored in sociology before becoming a caseworker for AR Area Agency on Aging. He always loved spending time with his family and friends.

Services will be held Monday, November 8, 2021, 6:30 p.m. at First General Baptist Church (15765 Promised Land Lane, Trumann, AR,72472). With visitation starting prior to the service at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be private at a later date.
