Bobby Wayne Shelton

Bobby W. Shelton, 78, of Jonesboro passed away peacefully Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.  Bobby Was preceded in death by his parents, J.S. and Ruth “Johnnie” Shelton, one brother, J. D. Shelton; a sister, Kathryn Simpson; brother in law, Floyd Simpson, Sr.; and sister in law, Jimmie Lee Shelton. Bobby was a Baptist and his greatest enjoyment in life was his dogs, being around children, and listening to any music by Johnny Cash.  He loved watching his favorite TV shows, Three’s Company, Sandford and Son, and the Dukes of Hazzard.

Survivors include two nephews, Ronnie Shelton and Floyd Simpson, Jr.; niece, Donna (Bryan) Owens; two great nephews, Ryan (Jessica) Shelton; Reid (Jenella) Shelton; great niece, Abby Owens; great great nephew and niece (twins) Ripp and Everly Shelton.

Graveside services will be 1:00 Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Nettleton Cemetery with Ronnie Shelton officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  All other services will be private.  To sign an online guestbook, go to emersonfuenralhome.com.
