Bobby Gene Hatley

Bobby Gene Hatley, 76, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday January 6, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born in Luxora, Arkansas on April 14, 1939 to the late William and Daisy Austin Hatley. Bobby had lived in Jonesboro most of his life, was a factory worker and a member of the North Main Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, dad, and pawpaw.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Edna Louise Harris and a brother; Tommy Hatley.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years; Mary Hatley of the home.

Son; Christopher Hatley (Dianna) of Paragould.

Daughter; Lavon Hatley of Jonesboro.

Brother; Charlie Hatley (Josie) of Trumann.

Sister; Barbara Easton (Claude) of Marked Tree.

Several Nieces and Nephews.
6 grandchildren, Zach Hatley, Kassie Evett, Sarah Evett, Chase Hatley, Dakota Hatley and Will Evett.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday January 9, 2016 at Pine Log Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Stacy officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Visitation will be from 11:30-1:30 P.M. on Saturday January 9, 2016 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Greg McAnally, William Evett, JR Chambers, Curt Swan, Dakota Hatley and Hunter Bratton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Veral Hodges, Dr. Corey Diamond, Dr. Aamer Faroog, Dr. Jeffery Cohn, Dr. Ralph Broadwater, Dr. Al-Hinda, Larry McAnally and Ken Short.
