Bobby Gene Foster

Bobby Gene Foster, 84 of Brookland passed from this life Monday, December 2, 2019 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.  He was born March 4, 1935 to John and Mary Newton Foster in the Monette/Leachville area.  Bob owned Needham Monument Company for several years and later was a self-employed auto body repairman and mechanic.  He was of the Baptist belief.  Bob enjoyed his family, working on cars, watching movies and staying home.  He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Keller; brothers, Junior Foster and Bill Foster and his sister, Ann Frost.

Survivors include his wife, Helen of the home; 2 sons Gene (Joann) Foster and Gary (Debbie) Foster of Brookland; sisters, Virginia Hill of St. Louis and Alice (Ted) Troutman of Jonesboro; 1 brother, Don (Gloria) Foster of Brookland and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Emerson Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be Friday, December 6, 2019 at 10 AM in Pine Log Cemetery with Christopher Kjorlaug officiating,

Pallbearers will be Brandon and Adam Foster, Jason and Anthony Hunt, and Jon and Jake Lewis.  Honorary  pallbearers will be Greg Osborne and Honus Wagner.
