Bobby Cleo Fletcher, 77, of Lake City passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at his home. He was born to JC and Joyce Passmore Fletcher on September 3, 1946 in Bay. Bobby graduated from Dixie High School in 1965. He served in the Army from 1968 to 1970 in Korea. Bobby was a member of Refuge General Baptist Church in Lake City.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia (Gilley) Fletcher of the home. They were high school sweethearts and the love of each others lives. One brother, Ronnie Fletcher of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, Pat Gadberry of Paragould, Brenda Fletcher of Lake City and an abundance of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond Fletcher.
Bobby always looked forward to fishing trips he and Ronnie would take. Next to Pat his wife, Ronnie was his best friend. He loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the Memphis Grizzles. Bobby also enjoyed participating in outdoor activities with youth at his church, whether it camping or cookouts.
Graveside service will be Monday, October 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with his brother, Ronnie Fletcher officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks as a lasting memorial, consideration be given to a youth ministry at a church of your choice or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, st.jude.org/donate
