Bobby Gene Cudd

Bobby Gene Cudd, 82, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.

Bobby was born on July 23, 1934 in Black Oak to the late Elve and Mintie Malin Cudd. He was the youngest of twelve children. He married the loved of his life Lou Meredith on March 2, 1962, and then they later moved to Gary, Indiana for work. He started a very successful 30 year career with US Steel, a career that far exceeded a ninth grade education. When he wasn’t working his favorite hobby was fishing. He loved to be around children, and he was always able to put a smile on the face of any child he came across. The love he had for his family will truly be missed but never forgotten.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eleven siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lou Meredith Cudd of the home; sons, Tim Cudd of St. Louis and Steven Cudd of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Lindsey DeMith (David) of Florida, Lauren Curtis of Indiana, and Cameron Cudd of Jonesboro; great grandchildren, Drake DeMith, Adelyn DeMith, and a third on the way; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

All services were private.
