Bobbie Joan Mullins

Bobbie Joan Mullins, 88, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, January 7, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on June 20, 1929 in Fort Smith to the late William Augustus and Nell Schlieff. Bobbie was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro after spending her childhood in Fort Smith. She made a career in the medical profession as a Registered Nurse. Bobbie was very competitive and loved to play games, especially cards. Most of all Bobbie enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie is preceded in death by her three brothers, two sisters, one son: Leon Mullins, and one daughter: Marsha Bond.

Bobbie is survived by her husband, Samuel Leon Mullins, of 70 years of marriage; four daughters: Roseann (Jim) Askeland, Suzanne Stearley, Carol (Allen) Trotter, and Anjanette Conaway all of Jonesboro; eleven grandchildren: Ryan Singleton, Erika Askeland, Rachel Klasky, JoAnna Bond, Jennifer Bond, Stephanie Stearley, Brittany Stearley, Steven Bishop, Christopher Mullins, Zachary Davis, Chloe Conaway; and sixteen great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at noon on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Roseann Askeland officiating. Active pallbearers will include: Steven Bishop, Zane Singleton, Zachary Davis, Ryan Singleton, Gage Bishop, Cain McCall.
