 Bob West, 79, of Jonesboro passed from this life on July 31, 2017 at the NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born on June 10, 1938 in Cash, Arkansas to the late Herschel and Gracie Thompson West. He had lived in Jonesboro most of his life, was of the Baptist belief and a carpenter. Bob loved hunting, fishing with his brothers, loved to attend the Arkansas State Basketball Games and loved the St. Louis Cardinals.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Willean West, infant brother, Freddy West, brothers Burnis West of Bono and Terry West of Hot Springs. Sister, Linda Rose of Brookland.

Survivors include his sons, Randy West (Casandra) of Paragould and Tony West of Bono.
Daughters, Debbie Weiblen (David) of Bay, Cindy Brown (Chad) of Jonesboro.
Sisters, Christine Newman (Larry) of Bono and Betty Griffin of Jonesboro.

Brothers, Bill West of Ravenden, Phil West of Utah, Byron West of Fisher and Jerry West (Lena) of Paragould.

Grandchildren Dana Campbell, Amanda Mangrum, Eric Weiblen, Cassi Rowland, Taylor West, Matt Brandon, Tanner West, Hayden West, Logan West, Sarah Hollan and Ben Bryson.
Great grandchildren Dylan Miller, Trenton Becker, Bryce Mangrum, Blayne Mangrum, Jaylan Rowland, Aaliyah Wright, Oliviah Wright, Jillian Weiblen, Khloe Weiblen, Abrahm West and Braylin Williams and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday August 3, 2017 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Jimmy Thompson officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday August 3, 2017 in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
