Bob Gene Ables

Bob Gene Ables, 73, of Beebe, AR, passed away at his home on November 19, 2023. He was born on March 23, 1950, in Tremount, MS, to the late Newton and Macie Ables. Bob spent the majority of his life in Jonesboro before moving to Beebe six years ago. He held strong Baptist beliefs and cherished his faith throughout his life.

Bob had a passion for deer hunting, while enjoying the great outdoors. His dedication to his work was evident as he served as a painter for over 30 years in Jonesboro, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Myrtle Pritchett, and three brothers, Kenny Ables, Therman Ables, and Lewis Ables.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Louella Ables. Bob is also survived by his son, Christopher Ables of Beebe, AR, his sister, Mary Lou West of Hamilton, AL, and two cherished grandchildren, Jensen Ables and Kaden Ables.

All services to honor and remember Bob will be held privately, allowing family and close friends to share in the memories and celebrate a life well-lived.
