Bob A. McDonald, 74, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Born in Otwell, Bob lived some of his life in Trumann and most of his life in Jonesboro. He was co-owner of TSI Amusements in Jonesboro and was of the Baptist belief. Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing and was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Josie Tolbert McDonald, and by 2 brothers: Clarence “Hootsie” McDonald and Bill McDonald.
Survivors include: his wife: Alma McDonald of the home;
2 sons and daughters-in-law: Jeff and Brigitte McDonald of Corning, and Tony and Karen McDonald of Jonesboro;
1 brother: Marvin McDonald of Jonesboro;
1 sister: Betty Sailor of Jonesboro; and
4 grandchildren: Mallary McDonald, T.J. McDonald, Jake McDonald and Luke McDonald.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery.
Active pallbearers include: James Attaway, David Phillips, Mark Tolbert, Danny Brown, David Elrod and Marvel Cook.
Honorary pallbearers include: Harold Wilkerson, George Young, Mike Darling, Calvin Kee, and Jimmy Wade.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
