Billy Trent Spence

Billy “Trent” Spence, 20, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Arkansas Childrens Hospital in Little Rock.

Trent lived most of his life in Jonesboro and was a 2009 graduate of Jonesboro High School. Trent was a Baptist and loved all sports including the St. Louis Cardinals and professional wrestling.

He was active in Special Olympics and dearly loved Elvis Presley, Rock and Roll, “Rocky” movies and playing guitars and drums. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents.

Survivors include his mom, Leah Woods of the home;
His daddy, Harold Winkles of Jonesboro;
His father, Jeff Rousseau of Paragould;
1 brother, Tyler Woods of the home;
His grandparents: Billy F. Spence and Frank and Barbara Winkles, all of Jonesboro, James and Gail Bagwell of Imboden, and Donna Knight of Paragould; and
many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Jeff Rousseau and Duane Dutka officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include Drew Baker, Carl Winkles, Rickey Lee Oswald, Austin Rousseau, Cody Jackson and Josh Lindsay.

Honorary pallbearers include Tyler Woods, Spencer Sharp, Jakob Sharp and Trevon Winkles.

Visitation will be held Saturday evening, 5-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
