Billy Ray Swindle

Billy Ray Swindle, 80 of Jonesboro passed from this life at his residence.  He was born October 17, 1939 to O.T. and Irene Cannon Swindle in Clover Bend, Arkansas.  Billy worked and retired from General Electric.  He is a member of Bono Church Of Christ.  He enjoyed his grandkids and family, fishing, hunting and gardening .  Billy is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Thomas and Glen Swindle; great grandbaby Veda Faith Whitley.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary Alice Swindle of the home; 2 sons, Mitch (Jeriann) Swindle of Jonesboro and David (Suzanne) Swindle of Little Rock; sister, Betty Suttles of Jonesboro; 4 grandchildren, Abbi Whitley, Gracie Swindle, Alex Swindle and Mark Swindle; 3 great grandchildren, Alivia, Abigail, Winni Whitley

Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Bono Church of Christ from 2-3 PM. with the service starting at 3.  Officiating will be Richard Akins.  Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery.  Family will serve as pallbearers.
