Billy Tom Prater

Billy Prater, 74, of Jonesboro, died Monday at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born in Egypt, he had lived his entire life in the Jonesboro area.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Prater, Corning; son, Mark Prater; sisters, Mary Ann Carter, Florence, Alabama, Dian Hollingsworth, Jonesboro; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva Prater; daughter, Mary Prater; and parents, Earl & Emma Prince Prater.

All services will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
