Billy F. Loftus

Billy F. Loftus, 66, of Jonesboro passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at NEA Baptist Hospital.

Billy was born in Jonesboro on November 29, 1950 to the late Victor J. and Jaunda Johnson Loftus. After high school he attended Arkansas State University. He worked many years driving big trucks across the United States until his retirement. He loved playing music especially Rock n Roll. He traveled with several Rock bands across the United States and Japan. He would always run the sound systems or played bass guitar. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jimmy John Loftus.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Loftus; two sons, Charles Garr and Daniel Christofori; brother, Vick and Donna Loftus; one grandson, Jaxon Christofori all of Jonesboro; and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service will be at Oaklawn Cemetery on Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. with Jayme Carter officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
