Billy Joe Kirby, 44, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on September 1, 2025. He was born October 21, 1980, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Jerry and Patricia Kirby.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Kirby; sister, Sheila Kirby; and brother, Duane Fields.
Billy loved being outdoors, but he especially enjoyed carpentry and working with his hands. Above all, his greatest joy was spending time with his son, Matthew.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Kirby; son, Matthew Kirby; brothers, Allen (Kelly) Kirby and David (Katrina) Kirby; sisters, Charolette (Terry) Sullins and Patty Dickinson; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
