Billy James Cullen,75, of Bono passed from this life Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Craighead Nursing Center. He was born to the late Carlean and Eva Cullen on October 22, 1944 in Monette. Billy lived most of his life in Bono and was a long time member of The Bono Church of Christ. He spent his early life in Monette graduating from Monette High School in 1962 . Billy Farmed his entire life while enjoying hunting, fishing and also gardening.

Billy is preceded in death by his wife Sandra, his parents, and a brother, Raymee Cullen.

Billy is survived by his four children, Ashley (Robert) Branch of Cabot, Whitney (Derek) McPike of Jonesboro, Lindsey(David) Burgess of Bono, and Colby (Dana) Cullen of Jonesboro; one brother, Joel (Bonnie) Cullen of Bono; two sisters, Malda Garrison of Monette and Sheila Parten of Paragould; and 12 grandchildren, Reid Branch, Ryan Branch, Ella McPike, Avery McPike, Evan Cullen, Barrett Burgess, Ruby Burgess, Sadie Burgess, Zach Melton, Josie Cullen, Asa Cullen, and Delta Cullen.

A visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 am Friday, June 19, 2020 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow at 10:30 am Friday, June 19, 2020 at Emerson Funeral Home with Richard Akins officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono with active pallbearers being:Doug Parten, Clay Inboden, Jimmy Felkins, Joel Felkins, Todd Cullen, Tony Bednar, Lester Wilson, and Wayne Tate.
