Billy Ray Carey

Billy Ray Carey, 85 of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday December 13, 2015 at the Jonesboro Healthcare Facility. Billy was born June 5, 1930 to Garlin and Lula Houston Carey. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1956.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Carey. He is survived by his sister, Juanita Caldwell; nieces, Valerie Torres and Kathy Tynes; nephews, Todd Caldwell, Greg Caldwell and Kenny Carey.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Strawfloor Cemetery with Johnny Hutchinson officiating with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of NEA Baptist Hosptial and Jonesboro Healthcare.
