Billy Joe Campbell, 38, of Brookland died Tuesday at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. Billy Joe was born on March 23, 1975 to Bill and Martha Campbell in Jonesboro. He lived all his life in the Jonesboro area, and was a cabinet maker at TCS Caseworks in West Memphis. He was a volunteer fireman for the Brookland Fire Department, a very faithful member of Community Fellowship Church in Jonesboro, and he loved to hunt, fish, and camp. He prided himself in being a loving son, husband, and father to his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Campbell; one daughter, Jazlyn Campbell; and one brother, David Campbell. He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Campbell; four daughters, Riley, Livvie, Presley, and Genesis Campbell all of the home; mother, Martha Campbell of Jonesboro; two brothers, Doyle(Sherry) Campbell of Jonesboro and Terry (Shelia) Campbell of Lake City; two sisters, Rita Lambertson of Jonesboro and Sherry Collier of Marmaduke; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be at 10am Saturday morning at the Fellowship Community Church in Jonesboro with Pastor Dave Burgess, Pastor Chad Wood, and Pastor Quill officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Full Fire Fighter Honors, and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-8pm at Community Fellowship Church in Jonesboro. Honored to serve as pallbearers are the Brookland Fire Department.
