Billie Faye Parish, 91, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Friday, October 30, 2020. She was born to the late Arnold and Effie Little on February 10, 1929 in Guy, Arkansas.
Billie was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church in Gibson Switch. She was a Stanley Dealer for many decades serving the Northeast Arkansas area. First and foremost, family was the most important aspect of her life. Billie had a caregiver’s heart and enjoyed serving and caring for others. She was also a hard worker and enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, cooking, and being with family. In addition to her parents, Billie is preceded in death by her husband, LeVerl Parish; daughters, Linda Vaughn and Charlotte Parish; and grandson, Jonathen Owens; sisters, Louise Williams and Peggy Wilson; brother, Bob Little.
Billie is survived by her children, Barry Parish (Linda), Tony Parish (Susie), and Judie Ford (Merl); siblings, Betty Baker (Coy) and Shirly Shelton (Wayne); sister-in-law, Elleen Little; Grandchildren, Karri Marshall (Robert), Heather Bell (john), Shannon Hawkins Sr. (Sherry), Le Andrea Bradley (Byron), Cody Parish (Lindsey), Cady Parish; great grandchildren, Kalli Long (Jordan), Kami Marshall (Bo), Haylie Soles (Roger), CJ Bradley, Shannon Hawkins Jr. (Jessica), Paige King (Josh), JJ Owens, Jackson Bell, Lexi Bell, Allison Shelby, and Lane Parish; great great grandchildren, Zadie Long, Karoline Long, Bekket Soles, Bennett Bradley, Jackson Hawkins, and Allen King. Billie also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, family, and friends to mourn her passing.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Gary Gipson officiating. Billie’s grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.
