Bille M. Whittaker

Bille M. Whittaker, 57, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in St. Louis, Bille moved to the Jonesboro area in 1972. She was a homemaker and enjoyed computer work, reading and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Sylvia Haney Davis; by one brother, Charles Davis; and by 3 sisters: Marie Stonum, Doris Whittaker and Deloris Whittaker.

Survivors include her husband, James Whittaker of the home;

2 daughters and a son-in-law: Sherry Floyd, and Crystal and David Foster, all of Paragould;

2 sons: James Whittaker, Jr. and Billy Knight, both of Conway;

4 sisters: Jo Ann Long of Ripley, Tennessee, Melba Berg of Effingham, Illinois, Barbara Reeves of Festus, Missouri, and Emma Bragg of Bonne Terre, Missouri;

3 brothers: Clifford Davis of Dow, Illinois, Daniel Davis of Union, Missouri, and Paul Davis of Byhalia, Mississippi;

8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Doug Welborn officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
