Bill Satterfield

Bill Satterfield, 98, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He had lived in Jonesboro since March, 1996, moving here from Springfield, Illinois. Bill had lived most of his life in Pecatonica, Illinois. He was active in the Masonic Lodge and was a Past Master of Masonic Lodge 145 in Pecatonica, also serving in the Scottish Rite and the Shrine.

Survivors include two daughters, Sue Ann McBride and husband, Marty; Jo Lynn “Jody” Ancona and husband, Marvin all of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Lisa Kimes Jones, Rodney William Kimes, Christopher Thomas Ancona, Kimberly Lynn Ashmore; six great grandchildren, Brianna Kimes, Benjamin Kimes, Allyson Ancona, Jack Ancona, Riley Ashmore and Savannah Ashmore.

A memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, April 30, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Patty Soward officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 1-3 Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
