Bill Olson

Bill Olson, 73 of Jonesboro, died October 1, 2010 at his home.

He was born in Aledo, Illinois and was a resident of Jonesboro. He was an Arkansas State University Professor of Business for 14 years and received his PhD from the University of Texas. He was also a lifelong Texas Longhorn Fan. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents Royal and Yvonne Berglund Stephens.

Survived by his loving wife Karen Olson of the home.

3 sons; Josh Olson (Amanda) of Jonesboro, Patrick Olson of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania and Stephen Olson of St. Petersburg, Florida.

One daughter Kristen Olsen Kettell of St. Petersburg, Florida.

One brother; Dean Olson of Aledo, Illinois.

5 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday October 7, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, with Dr. Bruce Tippit officiating. Burial will be private.

There will be no visitation.
