William B. “Bill” Miller, 67, of Jonesboro, died Saturday afternoon, July 15, 2006, at his home of natural causes.
Born in Wabash in Phillips County, Mr. Miller lived several years in Trumann before moving to Jonesboro in 1978. He worked several years for Crowley’s Ridge Development Council before retiring in March. He attended the University of Arkansas and was a graduate of Arkansas State University with an Accounting degree.
Bill was a member of Community Fellowship Church and was preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth and Martha Hightower Miller, and by a brother, K.T. Miller.
Survivors include:
His wife: Janice Lemmons Miller of the home;
2 Sons and Daughter-in-law: Richard Allen Lemmons, and Chuck and Christy Lemmons, all of Paragould;
1 Daughter and son-in-law: Martha-Gail and B.K. Maynard of Campbellsville, Kentucky;
1 Brother: Lawrence Miller of Hewitt, Texas; and
2 Cousins: Murray Hightower and Bobby Hightower.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 at Community Fellowship Church with Rex Holt, Dave Burgess and Worth Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers include: Marty Algee, Bart Morrison, Steven Bryan, Billy Cambell, Murray Hightower, Bobby Hightower, Michael Haughey, John Ollis, Caleb Delaney, Josh Martin, and Brandon Martin.
Visitation will be held 6-8 Monday evening at Emerson Funeral Home.
