Bill Johnson Sr.

Billy Johnson Sr., 67 of Cash died Friday, May 3, 2013 at his home. He had lived in Cash for the past 43 years. Billy was a member of the Stone Street Church of Christ. He was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the US Navy and a retired truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Billy had a love for horses and his dog, Molly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Geneva Johnson; one sister and three brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Judy Johnson of the home; sons, Billy Johnson Jr.(Lucy) of Bentonville, Arkansas; Todd Sharp (Jeanie) of Summerville, South Carolina; daughters, Tina Smithee (Mark) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Amanda Presley (JB) of Carleton, Michigan; brothers, Jerry Johnson (Lois); Tim Johnson; sister, Margie Yates all of Jonesboro and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be1:00 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Johnson Cemetery near Cash with Dick Blackford officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Daylan Hinton, Drew Johnson, Mickey Yates, Jerry Bishop, Gerald Goza, and Patrick McAnally. Honorary pallbearers are Morris Dean Watkins, Elvis Baxley, Fred Caples, Bobby Chapman, Lester Watkins CB McCamey, Gregory, Christopher and Steven Sharp. Visitation will be from 5-7 Monday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
