Bill Ponytail Hadl

William “Ponytail” Hadl, 64, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at his home in Bono. He was born July 23, 1956 to the late Bobby Hadl and Ramona Belding. Bill is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Bill was a man that truly enjoyed life. An avid church goer, he never met a stranger. You could always find him riding motorcycles and fixing cars. In fact, his passion for building motors and fixing cars fueled his love of drag racing. Above all else, Bill loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his son, Shane Hadl (Natosha) of Lake City; his daughter, Shevie Hadl of Bono; his brothers, Randall Riggs (Patsy) of Tulsa, OK and Robert Hadl of Aurora, MO; his sisters, Monett Peaster of Jonesboro and Connie Kemp of Austin, Tx; six grandchildren, Porschia, Harley, Cruz, Heavyn, Keygen, and Travyn; two great-grandchildren, Blair and Remi; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be September 14, 2020 from 5pm to 7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

Due to COVID 19 guidelines, a facemask must be worn while in the chapel.
