Bill Clark

Bill Clark, 77, of Jonesboro, died Monday at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Born in Trumann, Bill moved to Jonesboro in 1952. He was a retired Purchasing Agent for City Water and Light of Jonesboro where he was employed for 41 years.

Bill was an avid German Shepherd dog owner and was preceded in death by his parents, Odell and Ruby McCullars Clark, and by his sister, Evelyn Johnson.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Doris Bradley Clark of the home, married October 14, 1952;

1 son and daughter-in-law: Billy S. and Renee Clark of Jonesboro;

1 daughter and son-in-law: Sherryl and Rick Cheshier of Jonesboro;

3 grandchildren: Sara Elms (Jason) of Paragould, Brian Clark (Beth) of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and Callie Clark of Jonesboro;
1 step grandson, Jonathan Bruner of Jonesboro; and
5 great grandchildren: Noah Elms, Emilee Elms, Jace Elms, Emma Clark and Addison Clark.

A private burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery north of Jonesboro with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
