Bill Blalock

Bill Blalock, 76, of Lake City passed from this life on February 9, 2015 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born to the late George and Margaret Blalock in Needham, Arkansas on May 18, 1938. Bill was a huge sports fan and loved to watch any sporting event that he could find. He also enjoyed fishing and traveling. He is preceded in death by his parents: George and Margaret Blalock; brothers, J.C. Blalock, O’Neal Blalock, Berl Blalock, and Gene Blalock.

Bill is survived by his wife: Mary Blalock; brothers, Aulton Blalock of North Carolina, Wayne Blalock of Ozark Acres, Arkansas, and Dick Blalock of Bay; sisters, Bernita Colbert of Jonesboro and Pat Copeland of Bay.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Greg Younz and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Bowman Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Danny Blalock, Mike Blalock, Dennis Blalock, Mitchell Blalock, Tim Copeland, and Brent Copeland.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
