Beverly Jean Thomas Smith, 50, of the Goobertown community north of Brookland, died Sunday afternoon at her home.
Born in Wynne, Mrs. Smith lived in Wynne and Forrest City before moving to Jonesboro in 1974. She was a production trainer at Nestle Foods of Jonesboro and was of the Pentecostal belief. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Faye Woods Thomas.
Survivors include:
Her Father: Travis Thomas of Purvis, Mississippi;
1 Son: Thomas Murray Tarver of Brookland;
2 Brothers: Alton Ray Thomas of Lynchburg, Tennessee, and
James Floyd Thomas of Daytona, Florida.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with Bro. Rick Forbis officiating. A committal service will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 in Hughes Cemetery north of Forrest City.
Active pallbearers include: Chris Speagle, David Thomas, James Thomas, Mike Mansfield, and Steve Campbell.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening, 5-8, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
